Lloyds Banking Group Onboarding Journey

Effortless onboarding drives customer acquisition and initial investments.

I helped reimagine the onboarding journey for new ready-made investment customers. My contribution was from the product proposition through to payment and confirmation, while ensuring it aligned with their established design systems. To improve the experience, I created new icons, buttons, carousels, and information cards before we handed prototypes over for testing and development.

Challenge

To design a user interface for Lloyds Banking Groups’ onboarding journey that introduced a new financial experience while adhering to strict design system guidelines to ensure visual consistency throughout.

What I did

  • Rebuilt Lloyds Banking Group atomic design system in Figma, improving cross-brand consistency and design workflow.
  • Designed UI using the system, integrating UX content with new icons, illustrations, and promotional cards.
  • Prototyped end-to-end onboarding (sign-up to account creation) for testing and development handover.
